Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are counted at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the cards, however the beginning digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (5 plus six equals eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A additional card could be given depending on the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the gambler has less than 5, he hits. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the bank hits on a total less than five. If the player hits, a table is used to determine if the house stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The larger of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a five percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you quit the table so ensure you have cash remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie frequently pay 8:1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)

Played correctly baccarat banque gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few accepted false impressions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future actions. Tracking past results at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and probably the most successful course of action is the one-three-two-six plan. This plan is used to build up profits and limit losses.

Start by wagering one dollar. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will have six on the game table, remove 4 so you are left with 2 on the third round. If you win the third bet, deposit 2 on the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of two. Wins on the initial 2 with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a hit on the 4th means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all four rounds gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you can not win on the 2nd wager 5 times for each successful streak of four rounds and still are even.
