Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are said to be worth face value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they purely depict the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 results in a score of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given depending on the following codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart is used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie generally pay out eight to one and sometimes nine to one. (This is a crazy wager as ties will happen less than 1 every ten hands. Avoid laying money on a tie. Regardless odds are generously better – nine to one vs. eight to one)

When done effectively, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future results. Tracking of prior results on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-6 scheme. This process is used to accentuate winnings and minimizing risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
