Punto Banco Policies

Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum of the cards, however the first number is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (5 plus six equals eleven; drop the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given using the following rules:

- If the player or house gets a score of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the banker takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to decide if the banker stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (equal money minus a 5 percent rake. Commission are recorded and paid off when you leave the table so ensure you still have funds left over just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pay 1:1. Winning bets for tie frequently pay eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one versus 8:1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat banque gives generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of accepted myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping score of past outcomes on a page of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and possibly the most favorable scheme is the one-three-two-six technique. This plan is deployed to maximize winnings and limit risk.

Start by betting 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold six on the game table, remove four so you have 2 on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd round, add two to the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th round.

Should you lose on the first bet, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third provides you with a take of 2. And success on the 1st three with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four rounds and in the end, are even.
