Baccarat Banque Practices and Scheme
Punto Banco Principles
Baccarat banque is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the beginning digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (five plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).
A third card might be given out depending on the following rules:
- If the gambler or bank gets a total of 8 or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player stands, the banker takes a card on 5 or lower. If the player hits, a guide is used to figure out if the bank stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The better of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5 percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you quit the game so make sure you have cash remaining before you depart). Winning wagers on the player pays one to one. Winning wagers for a tie usually pays 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)
Wagered on correctly punto banco provides generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Strategy
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few general misunderstandings. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping track of past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most familiar and possibly the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six technique. This tactic is used to pump up winnings and limit risk.
Start by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have six on the game table, remove four so you are left with 2 on the third bet. If you succeed on the third wager, put down two on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.
If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial round followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can not win on the second round five times for every successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, are even.
