Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards with less than a value of ten are valued at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they merely depict the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 7 and 5 gives a value of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or 9, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the player hits, a chart might be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have money left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie by and large pays out at eight to 1 and sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties happen less than one every 10 hands. Stay away from placing bets on a tie. However odds are somewhat better – 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

When played effectively, baccarat provides fairly good odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future actions. Tracking of old outcomes on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-3-two-6 concept. This plan is used to pump up earnings and cutting back risk.

Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
