Punto Banco Policies

Punto banco is played with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the two cards, but the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be dealt using the rules below:

- If the player or house achieves a total of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player stands, the bank hits on a total less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to determine if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you depart the table so ensure you have funds left just before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pay eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Played correctly baccarat gives relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few familiar misconceptions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events about to happen. Keeping track of past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and likely the most successful method is the 1-3-2-6 method. This tactic is used to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add one more to the two on the game table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the game table, remove 4 so you keep two on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, deposit two on the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you don’t win on the initial round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Success on the initial 2 with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can squander the second round 5 instances for every successful streak of four bets and still are even.
