Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are valued at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they just appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of 7 as well as five will have a total score of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be given depending on the following regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of 8 or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Victorious bets on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie generally pays eight to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is not a good wager as ties occur lower than 1 every ten hands. Stay away from placing bets on a tie. Nevertheless odds are positively better – nine to one vs. 8 to one)

When done correctly, baccarat presents fairly good odds, away from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of prior results on a chart is a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and almost certainly most successful technique is the 1-three-2-6 technique. This plan is deployed to accentuate earnings and minimizing risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
