Baccarat Codes

Baccarat is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum of the cards, however the beginning number is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 = 11; ditch the first ‘1′).

A third card can be dealt depending on the rules below:

- If the gambler or house achieves a score of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she hits. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player stands, the banker hits on 5 or less. If the player hits, a table is used to figure out if the bank stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Odds

The better of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (even payout minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you depart the table so ensure you still have money remaining just before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pays one to one. Winning wagers for a tie normally pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad bet as ties occur less than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Wagered on properly punto banco gives fairly good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some general myths. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future events. Recording past results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and probably the most successful strategy is the one-three-two-six plan. This technique is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, add 2 on the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.

Should you lose on the 1st round, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Success on the 1st 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd bet five instances for each successful streak of 4 bets and in the end, break even.
