Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the cards, although the 1st digit is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card will be dealt using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house gets a score of eight or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has less than five, he takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player holds, the house hits on five or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is employed to decide if the house stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are recorded and paid off once you leave the table so ensure you have cash around before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pay 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one versus eight to one)

Wagered on correctly baccarat banque gives relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has some familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future outcomes. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most favorable course of action is the one, three, two, six technique. This technique is used to build up winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, pull off four so you keep two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd wager, add two on the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.

Should you don’t win on the first wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of two. Success on the first 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning all four rounds gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to lose the second round 5 times for every successful run of four rounds and still break even.
