Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are give a value of face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they strictly represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for any hand will be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of seven and five has a total of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of eight or nine, then both players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart shall be used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure you have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie as a rule pay 8 to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties will occur lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are substantially better – 9 to one vs. eight to one)

When done smartly, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is not an indicator of future events. Staying abreast of historic outcomes on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six concept. This scheme is employed to amplify earnings and cutting back risk.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
