Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are give a value of face value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just portray the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven … five has a total score of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of eight or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pay 8 to one and occasionally 9 to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties will happen less than 1 every ten hands. Definitely don’t try laying money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – nine to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Played effectively, baccarat provides pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of historic conclusions on a chart is for sure a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-6 method. This scheme is deployed to accentuate wins and minimizing risk.

commence by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
