Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies and Strategy
Baccarat Banque Rules
Baccarat banque is played with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are valued at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the beginning number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A additional card could be given out based on the following rules:
- If the player or house has a value of eight or nine, the two players stay.
- If the player has less than 5, he hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler stands, the house takes a card on 5 or less. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the bank stands or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The better of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5% commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you leave the game so be sure to still have funds remaining before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)
Wagered on correctly punto banco gives relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Course of Action
As with all games Baccarat has a few general myths. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future actions. Recording past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and possibly the most successful course of action is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This plan is used to maximize earnings and limit risk.
Begin by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you keep 2 on the third round. Should you succeed on the third round, add 2 on the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth bet.
If you do not win on the initial round, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a take of 2. And success on the first 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd round five instances for every successful streak of 4 rounds and still balance the books.
